• Authors On The Net:  a free association  for any author looking to build a strategic promotional plan with the primary focus on helping authors with their online publicity. The purpose of the association is to help authors find the right way to publish their books. For some authors, using a  POD is the right choice. For other authors, selling their book to a publisher is the right choice. And for other authors, Self-Publishing is the right choice.
• Self-Publishing in a Box:  this program was specifically designed for self-publishing authors. It is a step-by-step program that walks authors through the process of choosing the right editor, getting ISBNs and other registrations, getting a professional book cover designed, building a promotional plan and building the basic grass-roots online presence authors need today. The perfect customer for us is an author who wants to build a business around his or her book. This is called Self-Publishing. When you self-publish, you actually start your own publishing company. • The Learning Center: This is where we list courses we create to help authors become more expert using many of the tools like Facebook, blogging, Amazon. Our plan is to add one new course each month for the next 6 months.
• ZDocs: this is our digital printing company. We produce book orders anywhere from 100 to 2,000. We also consult with authors to find the right quantity to begin with.

Our history
For years we were helping authors print books cost-effectively. Our self-publishing company, ZDocs, helps authors all over the states and even outside of the states print high-quality books at affordable rates. We thought we were doing a bang-up job until one day one of our authors asked our president, Phil Davis, why we couldn't help him sell books. This question prompted the creation of Authors On The Net and our Self-Publishing in a Box program.

Over the next year, ZDocs continued to hear from our authors and it became clear that what was really hurting self-published authors were cost-effective ways to promote books. About this time, new Internet tools were hitting the market. Podcasting, Blogging, Social Networking, Online press releases, online book clubs, Google books, Yahoo 360 and many others. We began to see how ZDocs could help authors promote their books using these tools.

When you join Authors On The Net, you become an associate and as an associate you will have access to a lot of information for free.
