HOUNDED Truman's Story

Truman Mahoney spent much of his life in prison after being convicted of bank robbery but the public never knew the full story of this master criminal. With his brother Harry and three others, he robbed more banks than anyone in history and was never charged except for one. After years in Alcatraz, he was released by presidential pardon and soon returned to the criminal lifestyle. In the later years of his life, he met the author and changed his ways, becoming a useful citizen.

Truman Mahoney learns early the life of the criminal. From teenage thug to one of the world's most prolific and successful bank robbers, he and his brother Harry are apprehended and spend a large portion of their lives in Federal Prisons in Atlanta, Georgia, Leavenworth, Kansas and Alcatraz as well as infamous Angola Prison in Louisiana.
Freed by Presidential Pardon, the brothers seek to reclaim large caches of loot stashed in various places and launder it into a life of luxury. Out of touch with reality due to years in prison, they struggle with the world that has grown up in their absence.
