Leverage everything with your Blog - a summary of tactics and how they can tie into your blog:

Tactic 1 - Get your book reviewed
a. Make a post on blog that your book has been reviewed
b. Post the actual review on your blog

Tactic 2 - Begin writing articles to post in hundreds of eZines
a. Every eZine article will track back to your blog
b. Put your articles on your blog which helps your SEO

Tactic 3 - Run press releases on PR Web and other online sources
a. Each press release will track back to your blog
b. Post the press releases on your blog

Tactic 4 - Get your book on every available online bookstore, i.e. Amazon
a. Amazon puts author websites/blog sites on their sales pages
b. If a reader finds your book on Amazon and sees the link to your blog, the reader can click over and learn more about you and your book(s).

Tactic 5 - Start a book club on Google and Yahoo
a. The book clubs will link to your blog
b. You can post interesting ideas from the book clubs on your blog

Tactic 6 - Run an email campaign, beginning with your own inner-circle
a. You can collect email addresses on your blog
b. You can include these opted-in email addresses to sell books

Tactic 7 - Set up your Google Book account
a. People will find your book when they search
b. If interested, people will then click over to her blog

Tactic 8 - Begin to social network
a. Blogging is all about social networking
b. You can leave comments on other blogs tracking back to yours
c. People will leave comments on your blog

Tactic 9 - Hold a webinar and monthly tele-seminars
a. You can promote your webinar/tele-seminar on your blog
b. People will sign up for your webinar/tele-seminar from your blog
c. You will generate Podcasts from your webinars/tele-seminars and post these Podcasts on your blog

Tactic 10 - Create a Virtual Book Tour
a.  You can invite visitors to your blog to attend the VBT
b.  You can post the VBT on your blog for future visitors to listen to

Tactic 11 - Put a flash banner on relevant websites
a. All banners will post on your blog
b. When someone clicks on a banner on an affiliate website, the customer will be directed back to your blog

Tactic 12 - Send proposal letters to 50 target companies
a. The proposal letters will invite potential customers to visit your blog
b. You can post about your plan to sell to large, multi-unit companies

Tact 13 - Set up interviews with local and national media and with trade journals
a. Interviewers can use your blog for background information.
b. In addition, any interview, written or audio, will be posted on your blog

Tactic 14 - Develop a book signing tour
a. You can post the schedule for her book signing tour
b. You can make posts about what happened at her signings
