Dr. Tom Gauthier is a retired corporate executive with degrees in business administration, management and psychology. He has been writing for the corporate world for decades and began writing novels in 2007. his first two works, published by Outskirts Press, Inc., are available on Amazon.com and BrnesĀ & Noble.com. His debut novel, Code Name: ORION'S EYE, is historical fiction based on real events and people in WWII. Gauthier's second novel features the true-life survival tale of the CBS TV Survivor casrmember "coach" Ben Wade. Written before Wade was on the TV series, the book chronicles Ben's solo kayak voyage along the Central/South American coast that lasted six months and exceeded world records. Written as a novel, but only partially fictionalized, A Voyage Beyond Reason has enjoyed great literary reviews. Writing from his mountain ranch in Janesville, CA, Gauthier has three more projects underway. Two are sequels to the first novels, the third is a cyber-thriller based on his own experiences aboard the nuclear aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis in the fall of 2008.
