Some of America’s finest Black authors have come from or reside in California, specifically a little city by the ocean called Long Beach. So what is a city to do that has such huge array of highly regarded authors?

I am the author of (Voice from the Wilderness)an inspirational poetry book. My reason for writing this book is to share my experience with the public and help to inspire them. I write on issues that affecting the yourhs, ex: gangs, drugs, teenage pregnancy, peer pressure, prison and drugs. This book covers topic that the government afraid to talk about eg: segregation in Britain, killing of Dr Kelly, the Iraqi war, George Bush and Tony Blair. As a qualified youth worker i have the authority to write on things that are affecting young poeple in the UK.

Voice from the wilderness deal with patriotism in Britain and by reading the poems in my book you will see for yourself. There are things in my book that deal with the Twin Towers, the UN, Hurricane Katrina and the way Bush deal with the situation. There are stuff in my book on Nurses, Teachers and the Soldiers that fighting and dying in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Inspiration and is what this book is all about because it tackle Unity, Terrorism, Love, Peace, Christianity, Single mother, Delinquent dads, Mothers, Manking and most of all my signature poem, don't Give In.
